Phenomenal Star Vice Ganda gets fiercer in his new album under Star Music titled “#Trending,” where he sings tracks that bravely raise social issues such as corruption and gender inequality.

The actor-host-singer turns brutally honest in his track, “Aba, Matindi” that puts the spotlight on shameless, greedy government officials who continue their corrupt practices despite numerous exposes about their misconduct.

Vice, meanwhile, encourages acceptance and equality in his song, “Ibang Hugis, Ibang Kulay” that mainly talks about gender bias and discrimination.

Vice’s “#Trending” was such an instant hit that it reached gold record status in less than a week after more than 7,500 copies of the album were sold. It was certified by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry, Inc. (PARI).

Also part of the album are “Boom Panes,” “Malaya Ka Na,” and “Push Mo’Yan ‘Te” which features Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez as back-up vocalist. Completing the tracklist are bonus tracks, namely, “Boom Panes Bryan Cua Remix,” “Boom Panes Christmas Remix,” and “Push Mo ‘Yan ‘Te Bryan Cua Remix.” All tracks have minus one versions in the album.

Vice’s “#Trending” album is still available at leading record bars nationwide for only P199. Digital tracks can also be downloaded via online music stores such as iTunes and Mymusicstore.com.ph.
